DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION

SWEET SUMMERTIME

Champaign and Makayla came to stay with Nana and Papa for a few days last week - and boy, did we have a blast. We did a little shopping, bowling, snuggling, modeling, dancing and slip & sliding. I think the pictures tell the story best!

TENNIS JUNKIE STRIKES

Circumstances being what they are, I've only been able to play tennis once in the past few weeks. And if you know me well...that's a major travesty in my life. So, I made a command decision the other day and bribed, forced, and generally talked my way into getting Brandon and Kyle to come out and play tennis. I told them that I would teach them both the basics of the game and then we would go hit a bucket of balls. Unfortunately we hit the courts at the hottest time of the day. But my two sons, were troopers. In fact, I think they actually liked it... a lot. We bounced tennis balls around for a little over an hour and then went to Pebblebrook to hit a few golf balls. The crazy thing is that all my children (brag, brag, brag, blah) are incredibly athletic - always have been. And with the exception of Carly and her fabulous dancing feet not one of them was very interested in participating in sports while they were growing up. But now that they are adults? Well, playing around with a club, a racket and even a bat may not be such a bad thing after all.
